TATYANA SLINKA (assisted by ILYA
SIN & DMITRIY YURKEVICH)
"UNIVERSAL UNCERTAINTY AND COLD"

by Denis Romanovski
Tatyana appears as the reader of her own poetic works. At the same time,
assistant poet Ilya Sin, bandaged like a mummy and wearing a military
helmet, twists in a schizophrenic dialogue with himself in front of a
big mirror. The other assistant hurls large, stripped-clean bones from
the balcony. It is a well-known fact that contemporary literary circles
have often declared art to be nothing more than incomprehensible imbecility,
and this is also characteristic for events put on by Ilya Sin. There was
apparently no connection whatsoever between the declarations of the young
poetess, which were traditional in form, and the behaviour of the assistants.
Or if one were to try and interpret it, the connection would seem unjustifiably
banal. Perhaps I am mistaken?
