Here, the means of expression is to tense up the body physically, almost to breaking point. The performer is hanging by his teeth from some straps. Straining neck muscles provoke convulsive, spontaneous movements. The smoothness of the deliberate gesture. Absurdity and premeditation. Bravado and the fall. Is it the dance of a hanged man or the dance of a mythical hero, gripping his own universe in his teeth!? The dance visualises gravity.
