KLATTERTANTERNA

A difficult task. At first, the performers have to make the exhibition space
at the Pall Mall Club "inhabitable", since it is decorated with synthetic
wallpaper covered with the symbols of these popular cigarettes. 15 kilos of
ladies' stockings are required to complete the performance, and they are placed
on the floor in various parts of the hall. Clad in long grey dresses, with retro
hairstyles and "long fingers" attached to their hands, the figures
move spontaneously around the hall space, fascinating spectators with their
unpredictability and pointless dialogue about overcoming obstacles. The act
of overcoming is seen as a tough, stressful situation. Survival as "residence"
in a segment of real time, and in the dramatic element of grotesque which is
forever present in life. Moving like somnambulists, walking... but where? A
retrospection of fantasies past? Conscious helplessness and avoidance of reality?
Or is this the reality of performance, when its functions are simply reduced
to assessing the situation at this moment in time?
